Dr. Don Tinder continues study of Mark

Dr. Don Tinder will continue with his series on the Gospel of Mark in the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, June 4. An internationally recognized church history scholar and dean of the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies at Olivet Theological College and Seminary, Tinder has served as associate editor of Christianity Today and earned his doctorate in historical theology from Yale University.

Bay Area missions conference Saturday, June 3

A missions conference will be held at Parkside Gospel Chapel in San Francisco on Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The theme is “Setting Your Mind on Things Above,” and the speakers include David and Pam Wilson, serving in Ireland; Mathew Kodur, serving in India; and Paul Muppiddi, serving in India.

Malcolm Lee to speak on Mother’s Day

Malcolm Lee will speak in the Bible Hour on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 14. He has been involved in the following ministries: board member for Youth for Christ and Child Evangelism Fellowship (1963-1970); Bay Cities Bible Institute (1970-2000); and the Bay Area Rescue Mission (1970-2000).  He currently serves as president of Homeless Rescue Services, which supports and trains ministries working with people in need worldwide.
